Travelling in small groups of no more than 16 people, you’ll discover the heart and soul of Sri Lanka intimately. Dine on the pristine beach of Negombo after exploring Negombo Fort with a local knowledgeable guide. Visit the sacred city of Anuradhapura, once an ancient kingdom and the centre of Theravada Buddhism.

Seek out the country’s iconic elephants as they come to feed and bathe during what is known as ‘the Gathering’ on a Jeep safari in pretty Minneriya National Park.

We’ve also included plenty of time to explore the cave temples of Dambulla with their well-preserved Buddhist paintings and statues and arranged a special cultural show in the hill-top town of Kandy featuring Kandyan dancers.

Visit the Temple of the Tooth located in the former Kingdom of Kandy, this World Heritage-listed temple houses the relic of the tooth of the Buddha. It is believed that whoever holds the relic holds the governance of the country.

Witness sacred rituals and receive an offering of holy water called Nanumura Mangallaya, believed to contain healing powers.

The heritage-rich city of Galle is simply an unmissable destination. Soak up the sea-salt air of this port city and discover a tropical paradise filled with lovely colonial architecture and a vibrant culture and culinary legacy.

During your time in Galle take a cooking class to learn the spicy secrets of local recipes, and uncover the history of Galle Fort with a knowledgeable local guide.
