Scenic Returns to Egypt and Jordan

Scenic has announced its return to the Middle East, releasing its first dedicated tours to the region since 2013.

In its new Ancient Wonders of Egypt and Jordan 2018/2019 brochure, Scenic invites travellers to step back in time and soak up the wonders of ancient Egypt and Jordan during three brand new itineraries.

The 11 day Treasures of Egypt, will see guests will start their Egyptian experience in Giza with one of the greatest wonders of the ancient world, the Great Pyramids and Sphinx, visible from their balconies at the luxurious Mena House Hotel.

The hotel is one of three Special Stays in Egypt’s iconic Palace Hotels on this exclusive Scenic itinerary, with guests also treated to outstanding accommodation in Luxor at the stunning Sofitel Winter Palace and in Aswan, at the Sofitel Legend Old Cataract, with its sweeping views of the Nile.

An intimate four-night private charter on the boutique 36-guest Sanctuary Sun Boat III from Luxor to Aswan, will provide a new perspective on this fascinating country. The cruise includes calls to Karnak and the Nile temples, from Dendera to the Osiris temple complex of Philae. Visits to Abu Simbel and the Egyptian Museum in Cairo round out this once-in-a-lifetime journey.

Continuing the adventure, Scenic guests keen to follow in Lawrence of Arabia’s hallowed footsteps can enjoy a 10 day journey to uncover the hidden treasures of the Kingdom of Jordan.

The tour begins in Amman with a private, exclusive Scenic Enrich visit to the Royal Automobile Museum where car and history buffs alike will be captivated by the royal family’s extensive collection of rare and classic cars. A two-night stay in the Rose City of Petra, with its impressive Treasury is followed by a Special Stay glamping in the Martian tents in Wadi Rum, before guests head to Aqaba on the Red Sea. The tour concludes with a two-night stay on the shores of the Dead Sea.

The Kingdom of Jordan Unveiled can be completed as a standalone tour, or combined with Egypt as the 20 day Essence of Egypt and Jordan, which encompasses the best of both ancient worlds.
