Q. JILL DUPLEIX - The Food Writer

Jill is an acclaimed food writer, restaurant critic, and the author of 16 cook books, including New Food and Lighten Up. She was the first and only Australian to be cookery editor of The Times in London (from 2000 to 2007), travelling widely across Europe and the UK. Jill is currently food editor of The Australian Financial Review magazine, and together with Terry, is co-director of The Financial Review’s Australia’s Top Restaurants Awards.

Q. TERRY DURACK - The Resturant Critic

Terry is an award-winning Fairfax Media restaurant critic and a prolific food and travel writer with a life-long enthusiasm for great food and wine. From 2000, he was the London-based restaurant reviewer for the The Independent on Sunday in the UK. He is the author of six books on food and dining including Noodle and Hunger, and was editor of The Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Guide for eight years.

Q. PHILIPPE MASSOL - The Wine Museum Director

Philippe Massol, managing director of La Cite´ du Vin wine museum, has been intimately involved in Bordeaux’s groundbreaking "City of Wine" from the project’s conception in 2009. In 2015 he was appointed managing director of the Fondation pour la culture et les civilisations du vin, in charge of operating and developing La Cite´ du Vin. It’s a role he holds to this day.

Q. RICHARD SERISIER - The Expat Winemaker

Originally from Australia, Richard Serisier with wife Shelley own and run Chaˆteau Cadillac in the wine country of Bordeaux. The winery’s first vintage in 2012 was described by the French wine critic, Jean- Marc Quarin as a “masterstroke”. The chateau was constructed in the early 16th Century by a descendant of the original Baron de Cadillac, created by Edward ll in 1307. The Serisiers completely restored the chateau in 2005 to the grand home and gardens to be visited as part of the itinerary by Traveller Tours readers.
