Destinations

Your introduction to the Seine will take place in glorious Paris, a city referred to as both the ‘City of Light’ and ‘The City of Love.’ As you sail slowly past the riverbanks, you will witness many of the city’s icons, including the majestic Eiffel Tower, the imposing Arc de Triomphe and The University of Sorbonne.

Further west is the medieval town of Conflans, where you will enter an inviting riverside port and walk past quaint churches and charming houses. You will also have the opportunity to discover the nearby town of Auvers-Sur-Oise, once home to Vincent Van Gogh.

As you continue towards the coast, the Seine leads to Vernon, Les Andelys and Rouen. Sights to see along this stretch of the river include Claude Monet’s country house and gardens in Giverny, the ruins of Château Gaillard in Les Andelys and Joan of Arc sites in Rouen. You will also be invited to indulge in some of France’s finest fare, including cider tasting near Les Andelys and delicacies from Rouen’s acclaimed French Baking and Patisserie Institute.

The towns of Caudebec-en-Caux and Honfleur are the final highlights of the Seine, before it reaches the English Channel. On this segment, you can look forward to discovering the hilltop village of Bolbec with its intriguing Textile Museum and Honfleur’s picturesque fishing port. Honfleur also offers convenient access to the D-Day landing beaches of Normandy, allowing you to explore the setting of one of history’s most significant events.

The Seine is truly a spectacular destination to discover on your river cruise through France.
