Mawson’s Antarctica: Along the East Coast

Experience a different side of the Antarctica Region with this voyage departing from Queenstown and returning to Hobart. Journey to the rarely visited East Antarctica Coastal areas, to see a region steeped in polar exploration history. Follow in the footsteps of Sir Douglas Mawson with an included helicopter shuttle to his historic huts.  
 
Enhancing this voyage are expert guest lecturers Ian Godfrey, Head Conservator of the Mawson’s Huts Foundation and Dr. Louise Emmerson from the Australian Antarctic Division.
