    • Day 1 - New York

      Your journey into America’s East begins in the ‘city that never sleeps’ with a two night stay at the Renaissance New York Times Square Hotel, right in the heart of exciting New York.

    • Day 2 - New York

      Take a bite out of the ‘Big Apple’ and discover New York at your own pace on a hop-on-hop-off double decker bus. View famous iconic sites such as Fifth Avenue, The Empire State Building, the Chrysler Building, Madison Square Garden and the Statue of Liberty. Tonight, get to know your Tour Director and travelling companions over a ‘welcome to the USA’ dinner.


      Get to see a spectacular Broadway production, a must-see in New York City. After all, no place on Earth exemplifies the magic of theatre more.

    • Day 3 - Philadelphia > Lancaster

      Enjoy a tour through the ‘city of brotherly love’. See the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall, the very spot where John Hancock, Benjamin Franklin and Thomas Jefferson signed the Declaration of Independence, where George Washington took office and where the US Constitution was ratified. Afterwards, continue to the Amish community of Lancaster, where you’ll stay overnight at Lancaster Arts Hotel. This evening, you’ll get to immerse yourself in a community completely separate from the modern industrialised world, as you enjoy a family-style Amish feast.

    • Day 4 - Lancaster > Gettysburg

      Visit an Amish farm and house as a local guide explains the culture, faith and way of life that excludes the use of modern conveniences such as electricity or telephones. Later, follow the trail of history to Gettysburg for an overnight stay at the elegant Wyndham Gettysburg Hotel.


      Gain an insight into the American Civil War during a guided tour of Gettysburg National Military Park. The Battle of Gettysburg was a turning point in the Civil War and was the inspiration for President Abraham Lincoln’s immortal ‘Gettysburg Address’.


      Following dinner, watch on in wonder as Abraham Lincoln is brought to life in an exclusive, informative and entertaining living history presentation.

    • Day 5 - Mount Vernon > Washington D.C.

      Visit Mount Vernon Estate where the first US President, George Washington, and his wife Martha lived for over 40 years. The mansion is set on over 50 acres of Washington’s extensive plantation.

      Continue to Washington D.C., the capital of The United States of America, and settle into the luxurious Fairmont Washington D.C. for a two night stay.

    • Day 6 - Washington D.C.

      Delve into US history on a tour of Washington D.C. that includes the White House, Capitol Building and the Lincoln Memorial. This afternoon will be yours to spend as you wish, and you may choose to discover the wonders on display in one of the plethora of exceptional Smithsonian museums.

    • Day 7 - Washington D.C. > Williamsburg

      Continue your journey to Williamsburg, a city shaped by history. The 18th century capital city of Virginia is a must see. Tour Colonial Williamsburg, a living history museum and enjoy dinner before spending the night at the Williamsburg Inn or similar.

    • Day 8 - Williamsburg > Charleston
      Charming Charleston

      Journey from Williamsburg to Charleston today where you will begin your two night stay at the charming French Quarter Inn.

    • Day 9 - Charleston

      This morning explore South Carolina’s oldest and most charming city, Charleston, on a tour through the quaint cobblestone streets.


      Today, take your pick of activities. Inhale the exotic aromas of the Magnolia Plantation and Gardens or discover the beauty and history of Charleston’s harbour on board a sightseeing cruise. Alternatively, take a horse and carriage ride through the quaint streets of this historical city.


      Experience the South’s legendary food and hospitality at your choice restaurant tonight.

    • Day 10 - Charleston > Savannah

      Continue to the seaport town of Savannah, situated on the border of South Carolina and Georgia. Learn the history on a hop-on-hop-off trolley tour and experience the southern hospitality that Savannah is famous for. Tonight, you can look forward to an overnight stay at Mansion on Forsyth Park, where you’ll enjoy a sumptuous dinner with your fellow travellers.

      Continue your journey through America’s south to the capital of Georgia, Atlanta, for your overnight stay at the Grand Hyatt.

    • Day 12 - Atlanta > Nashville

      Travel to Nashville, the home of country music.


      Take a trip down memory lane at Nashville’s Studio B. Arranged exclusively for Scenic guests, you’ll get to record a song there, just as the likes of Elvis Presley, Roy Orbison, Dolly Parton and the Everly Brothers have done before you.

      For the next two nights you’ll be based at the Renaissance Nashville Hotel.

      Visit the Country Music Hall of Fame Museum and learn of the fascinating country music culture in Tennessee, with an exclusive performance by one of Nashville’s acclaimed musicians.


      Sing and clap along during an evening performance at Nashville’s famous Grand Ole Opry. ‘The Opry’ began as a radio broadcast in 1925 and today is a live entertainment phenomenon and American icon. You’ll gain backstage access to the Ryman Theatre on an exclusive tour of this incredible venue, which has hosted country music’s most famous musicians.

    • Day 14 - Nashville > Memphis

      Make the ultimate Rock ‘n’ Roll pilgrimage and delight in a tour of Graceland, the famous home of Elvis Presley, the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll. Later, dine in the original B.B. King’s Blues Club and revel in live blues tunes. Tonight you’ll get to stay at the Westin Memphis.

    • Day 15 - Memphis > Natchez

      Today, travel deeper south to Natchez where you can learn of the antebellum era, when grand estates maintained by enslaved servants were turned into desperate ruins following the Civil War. Visit a cotton plantation, and hear the sweet sounds of gospel, before heading to your overnight stay at Monmouth Historic Inn – a beautiful antebellum mansion, transformed into an opulent hotel. Enjoy your Special Stay, it’s your opportunity to immerse yourself in the plantation experience.

    • Day 16 - Natchez > Baton Rouge

      Take in Lousianas’ second largest city. Cruise through one of Louisiana’s bayous, natural habitat of the alligator.

      You’ll be amazed by the culture of New Orleans. Explore this vibrant city and witness how the magic of the annual grand spectacular, the famous Mardi Gras, is created. Also, see the ongoing recovery since the devastation of Hurricane Katrina


      Tonight, you’ll get to choose from an array of local restaurants.

      Begin a three night stay at the venerable Hotel Monteleone in the heart of New Orleans’ French Quarter.

      To truly round off your New Orleans experience, enjoy soulful sounds while cruising down the Mississippi River on a nostalgic paddle boat cruise.

      Choose from a range of diverse activities on offer. Take a Cajun cooking class, or a New Orleans movie tour. Alternatively, you may prefer a Garden District walking tour, or a quaint horse and carriage ride, or a visit to the National World War II Museum.

      Tonight, enjoy a lively dinner and dance the evening away with your fellow travellers to the tunes of a local band.

    • Day 20 - New Orleans > Fort Lauderdale

      Transfer to the airport for your flight to Fort Lauderdale, Florida (flight included in tour price, may not be a direct service) for an overnight stay at GALLERYone – a DoubleTree Suites by Hilton hotel.

    • Day 21 - Caribbean Cruise

      Transfer to Fort Lauderdale’s pier. Step on board your luxurious cruise ship and settle into your verandah stateroom on Allure of the Seas for a seven night Caribbean cruise. Your Tour Director will escort your cruise.
