    Discover the Treasures of Japan

From Fukuoka to Tokyo, wander a different path and find those gems hidden away from the regular route commonly followed.

Not only do you explore Kyoto with its World Heritage-listed Sites but you will get to know Kanazawa, known as little Kyoto. It is home to one of Japan’s three great gardens and has preserved historic districts such as the old homes of the resident Kaga Clan Samurais and exotic tea houses. Similarly, in Takayama and its historic old quarter and cultural relics, enjoy a slower pace of discovery. Whether you are looking for natural treasures such as the stunning alpine scenery surrounding traditional homes in Shirakawa-go or staying in the Kawaguchiko area with overnight views of Mt Fuji, they’re all here. Or maybe it’s the man-made treasures such as the modern metropolises, filled with bright neon lights and bustling shopping and entertainment districts, or the modern robot-filled factories or the older historic preservation districts and castles now listed as National Treasures, this 16 day journey will allow you to fully experience Japan’s natural and man-made treasures, both old and new.
