    • Day 1 - Johannesburg

      Welcome to South Africa. Meet your fellow travellers at your hotel in Johannesburg for an overnight stay.

    • Day 2 - Johannesburg > Victoria Falls
      Highlights:
      Victoria Falls National Park, Sundowners cruise

      This morning, board your flight to Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. The world’s largest sheet of falling water rises up to 108 metres high and spans a gorge carved out of a flat plateau. Check into the marvellously colonial hotel for your three night Special Stay. Tonight’s outdoor dinner features a mesmerising display of traditional dancing.

      Be treated to a special Sundowners cruise down the Zambezi River and watch the teeming wildlife on the banks, drink in hand, just upstream from the Victoria Falls.

    • Day 3 - Chobe National Park
      Highlights:
      River cruise and game drive

      Today is photography heaven as large concentrations of big game call Chobe National Park home. Embark on a game drive along the shoreline, where predators often come to drink. Later, enjoy a cruise on the Chobe River, home to huge herds of elephants and buffalo. Large pods of hippo and giraffe families inhabit the banks and surrounding woodlands.

    • Day 4 - Victoria Falls

      Visit a typical Zimbabwean village to gain unique insights into traditional tribal life, including a home hosted lunch and elephant interaction.

      Later, witness the power of Victoria Falls with a tour of the Zimbabwean side of the world’s largest waterfall. Enjoy dinner in the beautiful Livingstone Restaurant to complete your day.

    • Day 5 - Victoria Falls > Johannesburg

      Board your morning flight to Kenya and its vibrant capital Nairobi. You’ll transfer to the opulent hotel, situated on a private acreage, for your overnight stay.

    • Day 7 - Amboseli National Reserve
      Highlights:
      Game drive, Mt Kilimanjaro

      Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest freestanding mountain in the world, commands the horizon as you approach Amboseli National Reserve. Massive herds of elephants migrate across dry plains, linking swamps with open pastures. On your game drives today and tomorrow, cheetahs and prides of lions can often be seen stalking the plains. Your lodge, home for two nights, is situated beside a major elephant trail with views of the mountain.

    • Day 8 - Amboseli National Reserve

      Visit a traditional Maasai village and learn about this complex and proudly independent culture, and their close association with the wild animals.

    • Day 9 - Amboseli National Reserve > Mount Kenya

      Journey north to Mount Kenya National Park. Later, arrive at Mount Kenya for your wonderful Special Stay at Fairmont Mount Kenya Safari Club.

    • Day 10 - Mount Kenya > Shaba National Reserve

      Take in magical views of Mount Kenya as you continue north to the Samburu ecosystem in central Kenya, home to a variety of wildlife not found anywhere else. You’ll get to enjoy a two night stay at your lodge, which straddles the river that waters the adjacent reserves.

    • Day 11 - Samburu & Buffalo Springs Reserves

      Game drives

      Today, marvel at the diverse range of wildlife, including the Reticulated giraffe, the tree climbing gerenuk, Grant’s gazelle and the rare Grevy’s zebra, along with a multitude of other big game.

    • Day 12 - Shaba National Reserve > Sweetwaters

      Travel to the Ol Pajeta Conservancy and visit Sweetwater’s sanctuary before enjoying the surroundings as you settle in to Sweetwater’s Serena Camp for your overnight stay.

    • Day 13 - Lake Nakuru National Park

      Views of Lake Nakuru

      The shallow alkaline lake near the town of Nakuru is home to huge populations of flamingos, pelicans and other birds. Enjoy a two night stay at your lodge, overlooking the lake. Take game drives around the shores and the surrounding national park, home to black and white rhino, giraffe and many other species.

    • Day 15 - Masai Mara Reserve

      The Great Migration (Jul-Sept)

      The Masai Mara is home to 95 species of animals, amphibians and reptiles and over 400 species of birds. The annual Great Migration from July to September attracts over 1.5 million wildebeest, zebra and impala, a phenomenon that has to be seen to be appreciated. Spend three nights inside the reserve.

    • Day 16 - Masai Mara Reserve

      Game drives

      Game drives through the Masai Mara encompass all types of animals, from lion, cheetah and leopard, to vast herds of antelope and zebra. During migration season your game rangers will give you the chance to see the crossings at the Mara River, renowned for its crocodiles.
