  1. Day 1 - Welcome to Budapest

    Your journey into wonder begins with a two night stay.

    Join a guided tour through the city often considered the most beautiful in Europe.

  3. Day 3 - Budapest

    This afternoon board your Scenic Space-Ship. At tonight’s welcome reception, raise your glass to the wonderful cruise ahead.

  4. Day 4 - Kalocsa

    Today, witness a traditional Hungarian horse show.

  5. Day 5 - Osijek

    Explore Osijek on a guided city tour, or take a blissful guided bike ride through Osijek’s countryside.

    As a Scenic guest, you’ll be invited into the home of a local family for a traditional home-cooked meal and the chance to discover what everyday life is really like in Croatia.

  6. Day 6 - Belgrade

    Join your local guide for an in-depth discovery of Belgrade and visit Tito’s Memorial, or see Belgrade on an orientation tour before time at leisure. Alternatively, choose a guided bike ride along the Danube, or journey to Sremski Karlovci, where you can explore the town and marvel at the many beautiful Baroque elements. You also have the option of gaining some true insights into everyday life on a walking tour with a local.

  7. Day 7 - Iron Gates

    Relax on board and admire the scenery as you cruise the spectacular Iron Gates – a narrow gorge that the Danube has carved out between the Carpathian and Balkan Mountains. Not only is it a spectacular setting, it’s also the natural border between Serbia and Romania.

    Raise a toast to the end of a wonderful day in this spectacular location.

  8. Day 8 - Svishtov > Rousse

    Discover the Byzantine gem of Veliko Tarnovo and the village of Arbanassi. Or stay on board and cruise to the town of Rousse, where you’ll be treated to a guided sightseeing tour.

  9. Day 9 - Silistra

    Discover the Silistra Fort during an active walking tour, or take an excursion to Varna on the Black Sea coast. Or tour a local village, including a visit to the primary school, and learn about life in Bulgaria.

  10. Day 10 - Giurgiu > Bucharest

    Bid a fond farewell to your crew as you disembark your Scenic Space-Ship and travel to Bucharest.

    Explore Bucharest and learn about its communist past, including a visit to Ceausescu’s Spring Palace. Or tour the Village Open Air Museum and discover ethnography exhibits depicting Romanian heritage and culture.

    Later, check-in for your stay at your centrally located hotel.

  11. Day 11 - Bucharest > Nessebar

    Travel to the stunning Black Sea coast for a two night stay at Nessebar. Tonight, delight in delicious local cuisine and take in a folklore show.

  12. Day 12 - Nessebar

    Take a guided tour of Nessebar. This afternoon you have the opportunity to explore this ancient town at your leisure.

  13. Day 13 - Nessebar > Canakkale

    Journey from Bulgaria to Canakkale, Turkey for a two night stay.

  14. Day 14 - Canakkale > Gallipoli

    Travel to the Gallipoli Peninsula, the site of WWI landings by the Allied Forces, including ANZAC troops. There are over 31 cemeteries on the peninsula, now a national park, and you’ll have the chance to explore it all and gain a unique perspective on this moving and historically poignant location.

  15. Day 15 - Istanbul

    After breakfast enjoy a fascinating tour of Homer’s Troy – the legendary site of the Trojan Wars. Afterwards, travel to Istanbul, where you will enjoy a three night stay.

  16. Day 16 - Istanbul

    Join a cooking class or try your hand at the ancient art of writing during a calligraphy course. Alternatively, relax and rejuvenate during your visit to a popular Turkish bath.

    This morning visit Hagia Sophia and spend some time wandering the evocative Grand Bazaar.

    Tonight, a special treat awaits you as you attend your farewell dinner at the stunning Hamdi Restaurant, where you’ll be treated to outstanding views over the Golden Horn, accompanied by the call to prayer that echoes from the numerous surrounding mosques.

  18. Day 18 - Istanbul
