  1. Day 1 - Porto

    Welcome to Porto where you’ll board the luxurious Scenic Azure for your cruise of the idyllic Douro Valley.

  2. Day 2 - Porto > Regua

    Today, enjoy on board activities such as traditional tile painting, or simply relax as your luxurious Scenic Space-Ship meanders its way to Regua where you have the chance to explore the Douro Museum at your leisure. Learn about the culture, history and identity of the people living in this wine-growing region of the Douro Valley.

  3. Day 3 - Regua > Vega de Terron

    Tour the elegant town of Lamego, or enjoy a guided visit of the iconic Mateus Palace, which graces the labels of its famous

    Enjoy a full afternoon cruising the World Heritage-listed Vinhateiro wine region as you continue towards Spain.

  4. Day 4 - Salamanca

    Discover Salamanca’s architecture, as visually striking as it is historically intriguing. Later, celebrate Spanish culture with lunch showcasing the local cuisine while you enjoy a Flamenco dance performance.

  5. Day 5 - Pocinho > Pinhão

    Take a leisurely cruise this morning to nearby Pocinho.

    Visit the award winning Côa Valley Museum or, if you’re a little more adventurous at heart, take a canoeing excursion on the Sabor River. Alternatively, join the ‘Tastes of the Côa Valley’ excursion.

    Enjoy a cocktail on the Sun Deck surrounded by newfound friends as you sail this picturesque stretch
    of the river towards Pinhão.

  6. Day 6 - Pinhão > Porto

    Visit the remarkable village of Provesende, showcasing the Portugal of yesteryear. Wander the atmospheric streets of this quaint village with the locals as they proudly introduce you to their way of life – an experience exclusive for Scenic guests.

    The beauty of São Francisco Church is sure to impress. The facade is a mixture of Gothic and Baroque architecture, while the interior glows with intricate wood carvings covered in gold. Witness a spectacular private concert in these wondrous surroundings.

  7. Day 7 - Porto

    Today, discover the historic treasures of Porto, including a visit to Palacio da Bolsa.

    Tour Guimarães and Ducal Palace, or enjoy a tasting in the fairytale environs of Quinta Aveleda.

  8. Day 8 - Porto > Tarascon

    After Breakfast say goodbye to Portugal and join your included flight to Marseille. Upon arrival at Marseille airport transfer to Tarascon and be welcomed on board by your Friendly crew.

  9. Day 9 - Tarascon > Avignon

    Visit Les Baux, and drop into a local olive farm, or explore Saint-Rémy and the Saint-Paul de Mausole Monastery. Alternatively, visit the wondrous Arles Arena on your tour of this once thriving Roman city.

    This afternoon is yours to enjoy at your leisure. Perhaps explore the medieval charm of Tarascon, or hop on an e-bike and cycle through this spectacular region or simply stay on board for a Provencal Soap making workshop.
    This evening we set sail to Avignon.

  10. Day 10 - Avignon

    Shop with a Chef at the local market before cooking up a storm in Scenic Culinaire, or explore Avignon’s architectural wonder, the Popes’ Palace. Alternatively, take an excursion to Uzès and Pont du Gard, the impressive ancient Roman aqueduct or sample the celebrated wines of Châteauneuf-du-Pape at a Côtes du Rhône vineyard.

    This afternoon enjoy free time to explore on your own.

    After the doors close to the general public at Avignon’s prestigious Popes’ Palace, you’ll be invited in for an exclusive concert where virtuoso musicians perform Mozart, Bach and Vivaldi within this elegant 14th century palace.

  11. Day 11 - Viviers

    This morning, enjoy a walking tour of the ancient town of Viviers, nestled between hill and river, and visit its imposing cathedral or visit the beautiful provincial town of Grignan

    Scenic Culinaire will be hosting a lesson in French cuisine for those wishing to improve their skills while cruising this afternoon. Or simply soak in the panoramic vistas from the Sun Deck as you cruise to Vienne.

  12. Day 12 - Vienne

    Take a walking tour in Vienne including a visit to the Roman amphitheatre and uncover the fascinating history of this quaint riverside town, once conquered by Julius Caesar. Or, for the more active cycle the picturesque landscapes of this region.

  13. Day 13 - Mâcon

    Travel to the ‘Golden Stone’ region of Beaujolais, and enjoy a tasting of the region’s wines. Or, explore charming Cluny, built around the great Benedictine Abbey. Alternatively, visit Château de Cormatin, boasting beautiful gardens and water features.

    A Scenic Culinaire class hosted by our on board Chef is available this afternoon as you sail towards Lyon. Learn some tips and tricks of French cuisine.

  14. Day 14 - Lyon

    Set on the confluence of the Rhône and Sâone Rivers, Lyon is renowned as the gastronomic heart of France and you will be spoilt for choice today in the beautiful city.

    Walk Lyon’s hidden traboules and then drive to Notre Dame Basilica, which offers fabulous views across the city. Alternatively, or join a guided bike ride to Lyon’s Botanical Gardens and Zoo or, learn about the importance of the silk industry in Lyons history.

    You have the afternoon at leisure in this fabulous city. Explore off board or perhaps take a lesson in French cookery in Scenic Culinaire on board the Scenic Sapphire.

  15. Day 15 - Lyon > Paris

    Depart Lyon and transfer via coach to Paris where you will enjoy an overnight stay at one of the city’s luxury hotels.
