  1. Day 1 - Cape Town

    Welcome to Cape Town. Your journey into wonder begins with a three night Special Stay.

  2. Day 2 - Cape Town

    Ascend Table Mountain by rotating gondola for stunning 360 degree views.

    Sample South Africa’s finest vintages with a winelands tour. Alternatively, visit Robben Island, take a township tour, or a Harley DavidsonTM ride.

  3. Day 3 - Cape Town

    Journey along the Atlantic coastline to Cape Point, stop at the Cape of Good Hope and visit Boulders Beach, home to an African penguin colony.

  4. Day 4 - Cape Town > Thornybush Game Reserve (Kruger National Park)

    Fly to Hoedspruit and transfer to your game lodge, adjacent to Kruger National Park, where you’ll enjoy a three night Special Stay. Set off on your first game drive this afternoon.

    At the end of your game drive, partake in one of the most enjoyable of safari traditions – Sundowner drinks.

  5. Day 5 - Thornybush Game Reserve (Kruger National Park)

    Specially adapted Land Rovers are able to track the Big Five – lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo.

    Dine in the bush under a starlit sky with the sounds of African wildlife close by.

  6. Day 6 - Thornybush Game Reserve (Kruger National Park)

    Encounter more of Africa’s wildlife on your morning and evening game drives. There is an opportunity for a walking safari with your game ranger.

  7. Day 7 - Panorama Route > Johannesburg

    Travel the Panorama Route en route to Johannesburg and see the Blyde River Canyon – the third deepest in the world. Stay at your stylish hotel for an overnight stay.

  8. Day 8 - Johannesburg > Victoria Falls

    Fly to Victoria Falls and marvel at the world’s largest sheet of falling water. Enjoy a three night Special Stay.

    Be treated to a special Sundowners cruise down the Zambezi River and watch the teeming wildlife on the banks.

  9. Day 9 - Chobe National Park

    Enjoy a cruise on the Chobe River, home to vast herds of elephants and buffalo as well as a game drive along the shoreline.

  10. Day 10 - Victoria Falls

    Visit a typical Zimbabwean village to gain unique insights into traditional tribal life. Get up close and personal during your visit to an elephant sanctuary.

    Witness the power of Victoria Falls from the Zimbabwean side. Later, enjoy dinner in the beautiful Livingstone restaurant to complete your day.

  11. Day 11 - Victoria Falls > Nairobi

    Helicopter flight - Enjoy an optional helicopter flight over Victoria Falls. Enquire for details – additional expense, please book on tour.

    Fly to Nairobi where you’ll stay overnight.

  12. Day 12 - Nairobi > Lake Manyara National Park

    Visit the Giraffe Centre to hand-feed the endangered Rothschild giraffes, then enter the home of Karen Blixen, author of Out of Africa.

    Fly to Kilimanjaro for heavenly views of the mountain. Your first taste of Tanzania is from your lodge, your home for the next two nights.

  13. Day 13 - Lake Manyara National Park

    Immerse yourself in the beauty of the park, which is set at the base of the 600 metre high Rift Valley escarpment. Lake Manyara is home to over 400 bird species, as well as the ‘tree climbing’ lions the park is famous for.

    Visit a local community in Lake Manyara’s countryside where you’ll get to enjoy unique cultural activities and learn about Tanzanian culture.

  14. Day 14 - Lake Manyara > Ngorongoro Crater

    Journey to the Ngorongoro conservation area and enjoy a welcome lunch your lodge, your home for the next two nights. Later, enjoy a guided walk along the crater rim accompanied by experienced guides.

  15. Day 15 - Ngorongoro Crater

    Descend to the crater floor on your extended game drive in one of Africa’s most famous conservation areas. The overwhelming physical beauty of the area, along with the abundance of wildlife, is sure to make this a very special day.

  16. Day 16 - Ngorongoro > Serengeti National Park

    Step back in time this morning with a visit to Olduvai Gorge, site of major archaeological findings, including traces of pre-historic man which date back 3.5 million years. Later, enter the Serengeti National Park with its vast central plains, made fertile by the ashes of the nearby highlands. Check into your authentic safari camp for the next three nights.

  17. Day 17 - Serengeti National Park

    The Seronera Valley is renowned for its year-round game viewing due to its abundance of water, as well as its large population of resident cats. Enjoy morning and evening game drives in your specially adapted safari Land Cruiser.

  18. Day 18 - Serengeti National Park

    Experience the savannah at dawn from a hot air balloon - additional expense, please book on tour.

    Today, you’ll also have the chance for more big game encounters on morning and evening game drives.

    Enjoy a celebratory toast at Mukoma Hills, with magnificent sunset views.

  19. Day 19 - Serengeti > Nairobi

    View the Serengeti from the air en route to Nairobi for your homebound flight. Please book flights to depart after 7.30pm from Nairobi.
