Scenic Eclipse is unlike any other cruise ship in the world. She is essentially a mega-yacht, designed and looking far more like a yacht than any traditional cruise ship. Yet she is one of the most technologically advanced commercial vessels to be found anywhere in the world today.

Scenic Eclipse is perfectly designed for safe navigation through all waters and sensitive marine environments. An advanced Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning (HVAC) system operates throughout the ship and in guests’ suites, providing 100 per cent fresh air through both UVC and HEPA filter treatments and meaning that there is no recirculated air passing between suites and public spaces. This advanced feature is also coupled with state-of-the-art technology and ship design, a GPS dynamic positioning system, forward bow thrusters and an electronic Azipod propulsion system.

The on board technology enables Scenic Eclipse to operate efficiently in compliance with, and in excess of, all of the current environmental regulations in each and every port we visit around the world, where we leave a very small footprint. The GPS Dynamic Positioning system allows Scenic Eclipse to maintain its location without dropping anchor, and with oversized Zero Speed stabilizers which are custom-built and 50 per cent larger than those of other ships – providing greater stability as it navigates the waters as well as accessing shore excursions.
